Tyres & TubesWe carry a huge range of tyres and tubes from all of the major manufacturer in almost all known sizes from 10" through to 29" including old school 27" and 28" tyres and tubes.
We carry tyres and tube for most kids bikes and BMX bikes as well as folding bikes and Brompton tyres and tubes, Maxxis Street BMX tyres as well as Tioga. Kenda and Duo as well as Kenda Race BMX tyres and tubes. We also carry a wide range of Specialized, Kenda and Maxxis mountain bikes tyres. For racing bikes we stock Pirelli P-Zero tyres, Vittoria tyres and tubes, as well as Specialized and Maxxis tyres. We are also agents for Michelin and Schwalbe. |

WheelsAt The Bicycle Emporium we know that the first major upgrade for most new bikes is a better set of wheels. A good set of wheels will be lighter and faster and can be taken from bike to bike.
While there are a lot of wheels available, our personal preference if for Campagnolo, Fulcrum and Mavic wheelsets. Campagnolo make high end racing bike wheels and they also own Fulcrum, which produces a range of cheaper wheels with some overlap with the Campagnolo wheels. Mavic are a French producer making both very good quality road and mountain bike wheels. As a Specialized dealer we also recommend and sell Specialized and Roval wheels for a wide range of riding styles. For cheaper or more robust wheels we recommend Velocity or Alex Rims with American Classic also a nice alternative with some very competitively priced wheels. We also offer custom wheel-building in-house, where you can select the rims of your choice, different spoke counts, select spokes by brand and in some cases colour, select nipples by length and colour and select hubs and lacing pattern. Turnaround is usually 3-4 days once all parts have been ordered and received.
