Another long ramble, a few more kilometres, a few less hills.
Total distance about 115km and 1000m.
A common theme, head west out of town under the motorway, up Teven Valley and then Eltham Rd through to Eltham village. At the roundabout at Eltham turn right and head up the hill on Johnston Rd and at the end turn right onto the Lismore-Bangalow Rd and head into Clunes. There is a shop on the left open 7 days that also does coffee. Continue along the Lismore Bangalow Rd and at the edge of town turn left into left into James Gibson Drive and follow that to the end at Corndale Rd and then turn right, past the Corndale Hall, then left into Hunters Hill Rd and veer left into Duncan Rd at the next intersection. Duncan Rd become Numulgi Rd and then Woodlwan Rd when it does a very sharp right over the railway lines. Follow Woodlawn Rd into Winterton Parade right into the heart of Lismore. Fill up on snacks and drinks here, some good cafes in Keen Street near Harris Cycles, who can also help you out if you've broken something! Through Lismore and right onto the Bruxner Highway towards Casino and at about the 60km mark turn right into Coraki Rd then right into Wyrallah Ferry Rd (sorry no ferry here), then left onto Wyrallah Rd into Wyrallah township, right onto Bridge St, which become Tregeagle Rd and up the hill to Robson Rd then turn right. At the end of Robson Rd turn left onto Tucki Rd and follow that to the end where it meets Marom Creek Rd after crossing the aforementioned creek. Turn right into Marom Creek Rd and follow that to the end then turn right into the Alstonville-Wardell Rd and follow that to Wardell. At Wardell go around up onto the bridge and cross on the footpath to the south side and then onto River Drive back up to the Burns Point Ferry - yes, there is a ferry here and it will cost you $1! Off the ferry and back into town for a well earned cleansing ale at the Hotel Henry Rous.
